Introduction

This great visit to Machu Picchu, involves a fantastic short trek excursion to the Surroundings Mountains of Machu Picchu. On this tour you will visit the impressive Putucusi Mountain, a sacred place where it is said the Incas performed ceremonies and religious rituals. At the top of Putucusi you will be rewarded by an amazing view of Machu Picchu, as well as the great natural scenery around, featuring giant mountains covered by lush vegetation, all within a mysterious atmosphere. So this is another great way to visit the 7 new wonder of our planet.

Day 1: Cusco /Aguas Calientes / Putucusi.

In the morning we are going to pick you up ,and then go to the San Pedro train station to take our train to Aguas Calientes Town ,the train trip will take 4 hours approx. arriving to Aguas Calientes to go  the Hostel. We will have lunch at 12:00, after lunch we will get ready to start the walk to Putucusi, name of a mountain next to Machupicchu. The route is not for unfit people, we sometimes have to climb stairs (90ºslope). From the top of the mountain we are able to appreciate Machupicchu from a difference point, a spectacular view. The distance is about 1.5 Km. spending like 3 hours .then we will walk back to the Town, where we can visit the hot spring and take a relaxing bath, dinner.

Día 2: Aguas Calientes /  Machupicchu / Cusco.

We will wake up at 5.00 am to have enough time to take the first bus  to MACHU PICCHU Sanctuary  and enjoy the sunrise, then you will get private guide within the citadel of machu picchu for 2hours approximately, after that you can wander freely until noon to relax, take snapshots, walk and also climb up to Wayna Picchu summit or just stroll to the Intipunku or the Inka’s Drawbridge.
