Day 1: Arriving at LimaIn arriving at the airport a host will welcome you and help you in registering at your chosen hotel.
Tour through the viceroyal and contemporary Lima. This half day tour comprises both the spanish and present day sections of this capital regarded since the colonial times as "the city of the kings”. In this day you`ll walk around the majestic main square (Plaza de Armas) which is surrounded by the imposing cathedral and the stylish Government Palace (Palacio de Gobierno), getting along to the republican Torre Tagle Palace which is at present seat of the Foreign Affairs Ministry. We’ll get along towards the nowadays Lima visiting the exclusive towns of San Isidro and Miraflores both located beside the Pacific coast.

Early in the morning waking up for a train ride along the sacred valley of Urubamba towards the majestic Machu Picchu, the renown "Lost City of the Incas”. Located 2,200 ASL, it was isolated from the scholarship knowledge by mountains and covered by semi-tropical wildly vegetation during more than four centuries until it was discovered by the American archaeologist Hiram Bingham of Yale University in 1911. Scholars believe that the Inca "Virgins of the Sun" took refuge from the Spanish conquerors in this magnificent citadel. Guided tour through the ruins and lunch are included.
Getting at Maras (Salt Pans) and the Andean village. Morning tour around the impressing salt pans made up of emerging water from a lake inside a mountain of the Urubamba Valley.
